Spring brings the bloom and growth of nature around us. It also brings the appearance of spring festivals along the Alabama Bass Trail. There is nothing like a festival in southern Alabama and we have highlighted a few of our favorites to check out this season.
Backyard Boilers Crawfish Boil & Music Festival
April 1
Lake Martin
The 2nd Annual Crawfish Boil & Music Festival will take place in Notasulga. The festival is a family-friendly event that includes raffles, door prizes, and live music by Dixie Red, DJ Red, Dan Lee, Russell Craig Band, Shades of Gray, and Ashton Shepard.
April 15-16
Lake Guntersville
The 62nd annual event takes place indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. It features more than 100 booths with original arts and crafts, plus food trucks, outdoor games and a bake shop.
May 26- 27
Lake Martin
Two nights of free music take place in Alexander City in May. Dixie Red, Happy Landing, The Russell Craig Band and Lauren Jenkins will take the stage during the weekend. Be sure to bring your cooler and lawn chair for a night of live entertainment from local, regional and national acts!
